Overview
We are seeking a highly organised and professional Office Administrator specialising in healthcare to join our team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to support administrative functions within a dynamic healthcare environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing various administrative tasks, ensuring smooth daily operations, and providing excellent customer service. A strong understanding of medical terminology, proficient IT skills, and excellent communication abilities are essential to excel in this position.
Duties
- Managing day-to-day office administration
- Maintaining staff and resident records
- Supporting recruitment, DBS checks, and onboarding
- Assisting with payroll, invoicing, and financial records
- Coordinating meetings, rotas, and communication
- Ensuring compliance with CQC and health & safety requirements
- Ordering office and household supplies
- Acting as a point of contact for staff, residents, and professionals
Requirements
- Proven administrative experience within a healthcare setting or similar environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently and manage time effectively.
- Good IT skills with the ability to adapt to new software or systems quickly.
- Demonstrated customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanour.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. This role is ideal for organised individuals who thrive on providing exceptional administrative support within the healthcare sector. Pay: From £12.71 per hour
