Medico Legal Records Analyst - £35k

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual who has experience in chronology/pagination. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for managing data and images and organising them into chronologic order.

The role is responsible for the secure collation, organisation, extraction and analysis of complex medical records and imaging, including the preparation of detailed medical chronologies and other case-related documentation.

The role is a permanent job opportunity for someone who wants either full time or part time work. You will be office based and work within a positive, friendly and credible team.

Ideally you will have come from a Medico Legal / Nurse Medical Records Analyst background, however we will consider candidates from different Industries with chronology experience.

Responsibilities

  • Handle medico-legal instructions from start to finish — enquiries, new reports, follow-ups, conferences and joint expert meetings.
  • Put together and keep medical chronologies up to date — accurate, clear, and focused on what actually matters for the case.
  • Keep cases running smoothly with solid admin and case management support, hitting deadlines along the way.
  • Dig into complex medical records and imaging, pulling out the key info for expert witness work.
  • Back up senior colleagues with case documentation, reports and other materials.
  • Help colleagues figure out the best way to organise, label and store medical records physically.
  • Keep case records accurate and stick to internal processes, data protection rules and records management standards.

Experience

  • Proven experience in chronology/pagination. Proven experience in organising and reviewing medical records, including the preparation of detailed and accurate medical chronologies is essential.
  • Strong analysis skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets effectively
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal, for clear documentation and collaboration
  • Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and consistency when analysing and reporting information.
  • Ideally experience working within Medico Legal Industry
