£28,000 - £31,000 basic salary + uncapped commission (£5,000-£20,000 OTE)

As a Recruitment Consultant, you will manage relationships with schools and educators across your local market. This is a varied, fast-moving role. One moment you might be responding to an urgent requirement from a school; the next you may be speaking with an educator about their career, researching a prospective client or planning how to grow your desk.

This is a commercial recruitment role, so you will need to be comfortable speaking to new people, developing business and working towards targets.
You will be joining a team where people share their experience, support each other through challenges and want you to do well. In return, we will expect you to bring energy, ownership and a genuine commitment to the people you work with.

You will:

• Build trusted relationships with schools and understand their staffing needs.
• Attract, interview and support teachers and education support staff.
• Respond quickly to new bookings and match educators to the right opportunities.
• Develop new business through calls, meetings and thoughtful follow-up.
• Learn your local education market and become a trusted source of advice.
• Manage competing priorities while maintaining a high-quality service.
• Work towards clear individual and team targets.
• Review what is working, adapt your approach and keep building your desk.
• Collaborate with colleagues and share educators, knowledge and ideas.
• Take ownership of your development and recognise your progress along the way.

Success here comes from listening well, acting quickly, following through and becoming somebody your schools and educators know they can rely on.
You will be supported to learn your market, develop your approach and build the confidence and expertise to grow a successful desk.
There is no single route into a successful career in recruitment. Some of our people began in recruitment or sales; others have brought valuable experience from education, sport, hospitality, retail, customer service or university.

Previous recruitment, sales or education experience could give you a valuable starting point, but we are equally interested in the qualities you would bring to the role.
