Regional Business Manager

Location Field-Based | London, South East England & East Anglia
Salary £60,000 - £75,000 (Depending on Experience) + Bonus + Company Car/Car Allowance

We are looking for a commercially driven and inspirational Regional Business Manager to lead and develop a team across the renal and cancer therapy areas.

This field-based leadership role combines strategic healthcare sales, people management, and partnership-led account development across community and acute care settings. You will work closely with healthcare professionals, NHS stakeholders, and key opinion leaders to support patient adoption, drive market growth, and deliver commercial success across your region.

The successful candidate will be highly motivated, hands-on, and passionate about developing high-performing teams while delivering exceptional customer engagement and sustainable business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of Territory Business Managers and Sales Associates across the region
  • Deliver regional sales growth, increase market share, and exceed new patient acquisition targets across renal and cancer therapy areas
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals, NHS stakeholders, Integrated Care Boards, and key opinion leaders
  • Identify, develop, and convert new business opportunities within community and acute care settings
  • Drive patient adoption through a consultative, solutions-focused and referral-based approach
  • Develop and execute strategic regional, territory, and account plans aligned to wider business objectives
  • Analyse sales performance, market insights, and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities and risks
  • Provide field-based coaching, mentorship, and personal development support to team members
  • Drive engagement and effective use of CRM systems, pipeline management, and reporting
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, clinical, regulatory, and wider commercial teams to support shared business goals

Essential

  • Extensive experience within healthcare, medical device, pharmaceutical, or clinical sales management
  • Proven track record of consistently achieving and exceeding sales targets both personally and through team leadership
  • Strong people leadership, coaching, and team development experience
  • Excellent relationship-building, influencing, and communication skills
  • Commercially focused with a strong patient-centred approach
  • Strong understanding of NHS structures, stakeholder engagement, and prescribing pathways
  • Experience developing and executing strategic territory or regional business plans
  • Strong analytical and forecasting skills with experience using CRM systems and Microsoft Office
  • Self-motivated, organised, and comfortable working autonomously within a field-based role
  • Full UK driving licence

Desirable

  • Experience within renal, cancer, vascular access, or related therapy areas
  • Experience within chronic care or consumable medical device markets
  • Patient engagement or referral-based sales model experience
  • Clinical or healthcare-related background
  • Degree in Biomedical Engineering, Clinical Science, Marketing, Business, or a related discipline
  • Existing relationships within relevant NHS or community care networks
