North East Based | UK-Wide Events | Additional Clinical Opportunities Available

We are looking for enthusiastic, professional and patient-focused Qualified Paramedics to join our growing team and support our extensive event portfolio.

We have three stations across the North East, however we also provide medical cover for events throughout the UK, offering a varied and exciting working environment.

We welcome applications from Newly Qualified Paramedics (NQPs). While previous autonomous experience is desirable, NQPs will be fully considered and provided with additional training, supervision and support to help develop confidence and competence within the event environment.

In addition to event work, there are opportunities to undertake other areas of practice including:

  • Frontline A&E work
  • Patient transfers
  • Repatriations
  • Other specialist operational duties

We provide full uniform, clinical kit, and paramedic medications (including controlled drugs), enabling clinicians to work effectively and safely in a well-supported environment.

Job Summary

As an Event Paramedic, you will provide emergency medical care across a diverse range of events, ensuring safe, effective and timely patient treatment in dynamic environments.

You will be responsible for responding to medical emergencies, delivering immediate patient care, supporting event medical preparedness, and working collaboratively with wider teams to maintain high clinical standards.

This role is ideal for clinicians with strong decision-making skills, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond promptly to medical emergencies at events, providing immediate care, first aid and advanced clinical interventions where appropriate
  • Assess patients and undertake clinical examinations using effective triage and decision-making skills
  • Deliver safe and effective patient care, including airway management, monitoring and emergency interventions
  • Administer medications (including controlled drugs where authorised) in line with organisational policies and clinical guidelines
  • Maintain accurate and professional clinical documentation
  • Safely operate emergency or response vehicles where required and appropriate
  • Assist in preparing and maintaining first aid posts, vehicles and clinical equipment to operational readiness
  • Work collaboratively with event organisers, ambulance services, venue teams and other emergency responders
  • Support safe patient movement and handling when required
  • Promote high standards of professionalism, patient dignity and compassionate care at all times

What We’re Looking For

Essential Requirements

  • Registered Paramedic (HCPC)
  • Strong patient assessment and clinical decision-making skills
  • Knowledge of Advanced Life Support (ALS) principles
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to remain calm, professional and effective under pressure

Desirable Experience

  • Previous frontline, urgent care, event medical, critical care or hospital experience
  • Experience working autonomously in unpredictable environments
  • Emergency response or blue-light driving experience
