Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of delicious churros, ensuring quality and presentation meet company standards
• Assist in the daily setup and organisation of the food preparation area
• Provide friendly and efficient service to customers, taking orders accurately and upselling menu items where appropriate
• Maintain strict adherence to food safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times
• Manage cash transactions accurately using the POS system, including handling payments and giving correct change
• Support team members during busy periods, ensuring smooth operation of the outlet
• Keep the work area clean, organised, and fully stocked throughout shifts
• Engage with customers positively, creating an enjoyable atmosphere that encourages repeat visits

Experience

• Previous experience in food preparation or restaurant service is preferred; training will be provided for suitable candidates
• Knowledge of food safety standards within a commercial kitchen environment is advantageous
• Basic maths skills are necessary for handling transactions efficiently
• Experience with kitchen operations or culinary tasks will be considered a plus
• Strong time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively during busy periods
• Ability to upsell menu items confidently to enhance customer satisfaction and sales performance
