About the clinic

The Treatment Rooms London specialises in hair transplant surgery. The clinic is regarded as one of the best hair transplant clinics in London. It has featured on TV and in newspapers highlighting the surgeons’ dedication to high quality and safe surgery. Every patient is seen and treated personally by our surgeons who are also the owners of the business. The clinic maintains exceptional levels of patient satisfaction.

Working in a hair technician role, the successful candidate will be one of the first members of the team to greet our patients. Therefore, outstanding patient bedside manner and the ability to communicate clearly and effectively with patients, practitioners and colleagues is essential. The role will include ensuring the surgical room operates smoothly and ensuring Surgeons are assisted where necessary with the following tasks- counting and sorting hair grafts using a microscope, placing hair grafts with forceps and loading hair grafts onto implanter pens. Other roles will include cleaning and inventory updating to place new stock orders as well as other ad hoc duties as required with a growing clinic.

We are a rapidly expanding practice and this role has been created to fulfil our growing requirements. This is a great opportunity for someone to join a social team on our journey, make the role their own and grow alongside us.

Role: Junior Hair Technician

Hours: Usually 4 days a week, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday Friday 7am- 5pm but sometime Wednesday as well. Flexible hours with prior written warning.

ROLE

Patient Liaison

  • Answering questions from patients where trained to do so

Front of House

  • Ensuring a high standard of presentation is maintained in all patient common areas and treatment rooms
  • Meeting and greeting patients for consultations/treatments ensuring they are dealt with in a first class, professional manner
  • Capable of greeting patients and direct them to the proper waiting area, notify clinical team of waiting patients, manage patients’ expectations on wait time and provide beverages
  • Ensuring open lines of communication with the surgical team

Clinic Administration

  • Co-ordinating and producing patient files including uploading patient files/letters to the clinic system
  • Stock control
  • Performing other administrative and ad hoc duties as required

SKILLS REQUIRED

  • Efficient, organised, able to multitask and responds to changing clinic needs
  • Fine dexterity and excellent communication skills and telephone manner with patients
  • A passion for delivering exceptional levels of client service
  • Flexible team player with a positive, “yes I can” attitude
  • Experience in hair transplant surgery is preferred

EXPERIENCE:

  • Hair Transplant Surgery experience: 1 year (desired)
  • Previous private health sector experience: 1 year (desired)
