  • Follow up quotations and convert enquiries into orders
  • Identify opportunities for repeat work and long-term relationships

Quoting & Order Processing

  • Prepare clear, accurate written quotations within agreed timeframes
  • Record and manage activity and opportunities in the CRM (notes, next steps, quote status)
  • Create and maintain job records, ensuring requirements are captured correctly and traceably

Production Handover & Delivery Coordination

  • Create job packs/paperwork that clearly communicate all project details to production
  • Coordinate lead times and delivery dates with the team to ensure on-time delivery
  • Keep customers updated on progress and manage expectations professionally

Required Skills & Attributes

  • Confident, professional telephone manner and enjoys speaking with customers
  • Strong practical understanding of manufacturing methods and materials
  • Able to read and interpret technical drawings (and ask smart questions when something is unclear)
  • Organised, detail-focused, and able to manage multiple enquiries at once
  • Strong IT skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication

Ideal (Nice to Have)

  • Salesforce (or similar) CRM experience
  • Exposure to ISO9001 and/or AS9100 environments
  • Automotive / Motorsport / Marine or Aerospace background
  • Additive manufacturing experience
  • Ability to review and understand 3D data (e.g., STL)
  • HNC/HND in Mechanical Engineering or apprenticeship / equivalent practical manufacturing experience
