Full job description
Are you an experienced healthcare sales professional who thrives on building strategic NHS partnerships and improving patient outcomes? Join Vyne Healthcare, part of Optimum Medical, and play a key role in shaping aftercare services across urology, continence and ostomy care throughout the NHS.
About the Role
As a Senior Territory Manager, you'll be responsible for developing and growing strategic partnerships with NHS stakeholders across your region. Working closely with Integrated Care Boards (ICBs), NHS Trusts, Community Services and Procurement Teams, you'll identify opportunities to improve patient pathways, drive service adoption and deliver value-based solutions that enhance patient, clinical and economic outcomes.
This is a highly visible role where you'll act as a trusted partner to customers while serving as a role model within the sales team. You'll demonstrate outstanding account management, relationship-building and negotiation skills, whilst supporting and mentoring Territory Executives to maximise opportunities and drive success.
If you're passionate about making a difference, building long-term partnerships and influencing healthcare delivery at a strategic level, we'd love to hear from you.
This is a field-based role covering the London region, with the expectation that you will spend four days per week meeting customers and stakeholders across your territory, with one day dedicated to administration, planning and business development activities.
As regular travel is required throughout the region, a full UK driving licence is essential.
What You'll Be Doing
- Develop and execute strategic account plans across key NHS customers including ICBs, Trusts, Community Services and Procurement Hubs
- Build trusted partnerships with clinical, operational and procurement stakeholders
- Engage with Continence Nurses, Stoma Care Nurses, Urology Specialists, District Nurses, Commissioners and Procurement Teams
- Identify opportunities to improve patient pathways and implement innovative service models
- Drive service adoption through value-based conversations focused on patient, clinical and economic outcomes
- Lead the development and implementation of discharge pathways and formulary programmes
- Partner with our Commercial Partnerships Team to identify and secure ICB-level opportunities and agreements
- Support the development, coaching and direction of Territory Executives within your region
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Clinical, Marketing and Operations teams
- Maintain a strong understanding of NHS priorities, market trends and competitor activity
- Represent Vyne Healthcare as a credible, knowledgeable and trusted partner across the healthcare system
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in NHS-facing key account management, healthcare sales or business development
- Strong understanding of NHS structures, commissioning and procurement processes
- Experience within urology, continence, ostomy, medical devices, pharmaceuticals or a related healthcare sector is essential
- Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills with the ability to engage at all levels
- Strong commercial awareness and a track record of delivering results
- Exceptional relationship-building, negotiation and communication skills
- A strategic mindset with the ability to identify and develop long-term opportunities
- Experience coaching, mentoring or supporting colleagues would be advantageous
- A patient-focused approach and passion for improving healthcare outcomes
- Resilient, adaptable and motivated by delivering meaningful impact
