Overview
We are looking for a Specification Sales Manager to drive growth within the healthcare sector, working on hospitals, laboratories, and clinical environments. This is a high-impact, consultative sales role focused on influencing specifications at early design stages, particularly within NHS and private healthcare projects.

Duties

  • Specification & Relationship Management
  • Engage with:
  • NHS Trust estates teams
  • M&E consultants and public health engineers
  • Architects and healthcare planners
  • Secure early-stage specifications for vacuum drainage systems
  • Build long-term relationships across the healthcare construction ecosystem

Position vacuum drainage as a solution for:

  • Infection control and hygiene
  • Water efficiency and sustainability targets
  • Complex refurbishments and constrained sites
  • Deliver CPDs and technical presentations to consultants and stakeholders
  • Support project teams from concept through to installation

Project Development

  • Identify and track healthcare projects across the UK 
  • Manage a live pipeline of opportunities
  • Work closely with contractors to ensure specifications are maintained through tender and delivery Technical Collaboration
  • Provide input on system design and layouts
  • Liaise with internal and international technical teams
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare standards (e.g., HTM guidance)

What We’re Looking For Essential

Experience in specification sales within:

  • Building services / M&E / construction
  • Proven track record of working with consultants and contractors
  • Strong commercial awareness and ability to manage long sales cycles  Excellent communication and presentation skills

Desirable

Experience working on healthcare or NHS projects

Knowledge of: o Public health engineering
