Working Time: 6.30am to 8.30am AND / OR 11.00am to 1.00pm

Working Weeks: Term - Time Only (38 Weeks) With occasion whole school training being accessed on Training Days as overtime and some contracted hours during the school holidays, timings negotiable

About the Role:

We are looking to appoint an experienced and/ or keen to learn member of staff.

We are looking for a flexible, hard-working, physically fit individual. The successful applicant will be resilient and a great team player.

We are a caring two-form entry Infant School supporting children aged 2-7yrs.

Training and CPD will be offered if required. All our lunchtime supervisiors are required to have Peadiatric First Aid Training which we will organise and pay for.

Our successful applicant will support our cleaning team each morning to maintain their already high standards of cleanliness throughout the school, ensuring that areas are safe and ready to access.

You will then assist our caring/ nurturing team of lunchtime supervisors to set up, support our children whilst eating and cover staff lunch breaks.

TYPICAL TASKS

CLEANING

To clean specified areas within the school in accordance with the school’s standards. Work is undertaken under the guidance of the caretaker / cleaning supervisor.

- Cleaning of classrooms, offices, corridors and toilet areas etc

- Ensure safe and effective use and storage of all equipment

LUNCHTIME SUPPORT

- To set up, support children whilst eating and to cover staff lunches in our Preschool or Nursery settings.

- Be a First Aider

Key Requirements: -

- To competently use clear, grammatically correct spoken and written English.

- Basic literacy and numeracy skills to read instructions and work out simple measurements.

- Able to operate equipment and use materials

- Can effectively communicate with adults and children

- Be a real team player for the good of the staff, children and school as a whole; developing good personal relationships within a team.

- A flexible approach to challenge and change. The successful candidate should be physically fit.
