About the role:

We have a new opportunity for a clinical administrator to help our growing private psychiatry clinic. We are a close-knit team in a start-up business and seeking an enthusiastic individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Tasks include:

  • Handling patient enquiries via telephone and email
  • Promoting services through telephone calls
  • Forming strong client relationships
  • Scheduling appointments and maintaining booking system
  • Maintaining patient records with up-to-date and accurate information
  • Liaising with schools and GP practices
  • Secretary for designated consultants/clinicians

Skills and Qualities Required:

  • Confident telephone skills
  • Strong ability to promote our services
  • Exceptional communication and problem solving skills
  • Strong background in sales
  • Ability to build and maintain a strong relationship with potential clients
  • Personable and friendly attitude
  • Previous experience in Microsoft programmes i.e. Word, Excel
  • Good levels of literacy and numeracy
  • Ability to think on your feet in a fast-paced environment
  • High levels of organisation
  • Ability to ask questions and learn quickly on the job
  • Ability to work well as part of a team
  • Willing to use your own initiative
  • Medical/psychology knowledge would be helpful
