Full job description

AFJ are a family owned and managed Community Transport business. We are a DVSA registered passenger transport provider looking after the transport needs of customers across the country.

This includes Home to School Transport in the Greater Manchester area.

We are looking for new passenger assistants to join our expanding and successful Home to School Passenger Transport Team. We are looking for PAs in the M22, M40, M35, M8, M9, M19, and M14 area. Please only apply if you are from these postcodes.

PLEASE NOTE: There are two shifts per day. You MUST be available every weekday from 7:00am for the morning shift and from 2:30pm for the afternoon shift.

Responsibilities

Provide assistance to pupils to access vehicles

Provide assistance to pupils with various mobility classifications

Demonstrate care and understanding for passengers and any medical conditions that they may have

Maintain confidentiality and discretion at all times

Communicate effectively with Drivers to ensure pupils are transported safely

Requirements

Experience working or caring for Children with Special Needs (Preferred)

Previous Experience as a pupil guide (Preferred)

Good Communication Skills in English
