NON CYC VACANCY

SCHOOL VACANCY

Malton School is looking for an experienced minibus driver to enable service routes to be operated successfully and to offer the opportunity for those students who live slightly further afield (and without transport), an education with us at Malton School. This role is split over the day by collecting students in a morning and then collecting them and dropping them home in the afternoon.

We are looking for high level driving skills which demonstrate a careful and defensive approach, along with excellent attendance and reliability. The successful applicant will have a personable approach that will build mutual trust and respect with the students.

Candidates must have a full, clean UK driving (achieved before 1997) or hold a category D1 license and be able to meet the medical requirements for driving a passenger vehicle.

For the successful candidate we offer:

  • A welcoming school where staff / student relationships are excellent.
  • A vibrant, supportive community which engenders a real sense of belonging.
  • The opportunity to join a friendly and supportive team.
  • A varied and interesting role.
  • A coaching culture which is a key focus for bespoke staff development.

The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. We require the successful applicant to undertake an enhanced Criminal Record check via the Disclosure and Barring Service.
