Job Overview
We are seeking a professional and organised Medical Receptionist to join our healthcare team at The Stockbridge Clinic. The successful candidate will act as the first point of contact for patients, providing excellent customer service and administrative support. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic medical environment, ensuring smooth daily operations and fostering positive patient experiences. Prior office or administrative experience is preferred, along with a friendly demeanour and strong organisational skills.

Responsibilities

  • Greet patients warmly and professionally upon arrival and departure
  • Manage appointment scheduling, cancellations, and rescheduling efficiently
  • Answer incoming calls promptly and direct enquiries appropriately
  • Maintain accurate patient records and update information as needed
  • Handle administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and processing paperwork
  • Assist with billing procedures
  • Ensure the reception area remains tidy, welcoming, and well-stocked
  • Support the medical team with various clerical duties to facilitate clinic operations

Requirements

  • Proven office or administrative experience is highly desirable
  • Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent English language skills
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
