Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and professional Medical Receptionists to join our Reception team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing administrative tasks efficiently. This role is crucial in ensuring smooth operations within our surgery and enhancing the patient experience.

Duties

  • Greet patients warmly and assist them with the check-in process.
  • Manage appointment scheduling, confirmations, and cancellations.
  • Handle incoming calls, directing inquiries to the appropriate staff members.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality in compliance with data protection regulations.
  • Process patient information accurately.
  • Coordinate communication between patients and healthcare providers to facilitate effective care delivery.
  • Keep the reception area tidy and organised, ensuring a welcoming environment for patients.

Skills

  • Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Proficient in office software applications and administrative tasks.
  • Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Empathy and a patient-centric approach to service delivery.
  • Previous experience in a medical or healthcare setting is advantageous but not essential.
