About us

We are a medico-legal run firm that employs expert witnesses to provide medical reports. Based in Glasgow. We are professional, agile and innovative.

Our work environment includes:

Role Overview:

This unique lucrative role is for an experienced Psychiatrist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible psychiatric complications as a result of personal injury producing the relevant expert medical reports. You will be paid on a pro-rata basis.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess and produce expert medical reports in a timely manner.
  • Ability to provide diagnostic clarity, recommended treatment plan and prognosis
  • Ensure that all reports are objective, accurate, timely and in compliance with the relevant regulations and guidelines.
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to data protection regulations.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, solicitors and other healthcare professionals as necessary.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records.

Requirements:

  • MRCPsych or MRCPsych equivalent approved by the Royal College of Psychiatrists
  • Full GMC registration, a license to practice and on the GMC Specialist Register.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work to tight deadlines.
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • No previous medical report writing experience necessary as training will be provided.
