Job Overview
Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Medical Secretary, where your organizational skills and proactive attitude will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care. Responsibilities
- Handle incoming calls with professionalism, providing information or directing enquiries to the appropriate staff members.
- Maintain accurate patient records by updating electronic health records (EHR) systems promptly and securely.
- Prepare and process billing documentation, insurance forms, and payment transactions with precision.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as photocopying, filing, and managing correspondence to keep the office organised.
- Support the clinical team by ensuring all necessary documentation is complete prior to patient visits.
Requirements
- Proven office experience demonstrating strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Previous administrative experience in a healthcare or medical environment is highly preferred.
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Proficiency in office software such as Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with electronic health record systems.
- Ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a lively clinic setting while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal skills to interact confidently with patients, staff, and external partners.
