Patient Care Coordinator Dental Receptionist

Full-Time | Independent Dental Practice | Keynsham

We're looking for an experienced Dental Receptionist / Patient Care Coordinator who is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service.

This role would suit someone who already has experience working in a dental practice, enjoys building relationships with patients, and takes pride in creating outstanding patient experiences from the first phone call through to the completion of treatment.

Your Role

As a key member of our front-of-house team, you will:

  • Welcome patients and create a positive first impression
  • Support patients before, during, and after their appointments
  • Managing clinician diaries to maximise utilisation
  • Handling patient enquiries and treatment bookings
  • Following up outstanding treatment plans
  • Supporting membership administration
  • Liaising with laboratories and referring practices where required
  • Helping the practice achieve an exceptional patient experience

What We’re Looking For
Essential

  • Previous experience working in a dental reception or patient care role
  • Outstanding customer service skills with a warm, confident telephone manner
  • Experience using Dentally or Software of Excellence (Exact)
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Strong IT skills and confidence using Outlook and Microsoft Office
  • The ability to remain calm, organised and professional in a busy environment
  • A positive, proactive attitude and willingness to support the wider team

Desirable

  • Experience discussing treatment plans and finance with patients
  • Knowledge of private dental practice workflows
  • Experience with social media or marketing

Training will be provided on our practice systems and processes; however, previous experience using Dentally or Software of Excellence (Exact) is highly desirable.
