Full job description

We are an expanding GP practice located between Bath and Frome and are strengthening our support team, recruiting for a friendly and professional

Receptionist / Care Navigator

You will be responsible for welcoming patients to the practice, booking appointments by telephone, online and in person, and signposting patients to the most appropriate service or healthcare professional for their needs.

Excellent communication and customer service skills are essential, along with good IT skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a busy environment.

We currently have a permanent 8-hour vacancy available, together with additional hours to provide cover within the reception team. These additional hours are approximately 13 hours per week initially, with the potential for longer-term opportunities.

Hours will be worked across Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, with some Saturday morning sessions as required. Shifts may start as early as 7:45am or finish after 7:00pm and may be based at either our Beckington or Fromefield surgery sites.

Flexibility to work across both sites and a variety of shift patterns is essential.
