We currently have an opening to join our dynamic team of 18 receptionists covering our 2 sites across Harrogate.

Previous experience as a medical receptionist is not essential as full training and support will be given.

Some of our successful candidates have come from backgrounds in Hotels, Catering, Hospitality, Retail, as well as many other service-based industries. The most important thing is that you are a people person, and you care.

About us:

Moss Healthcare Harrogate is a long established, family focused General Practice providing NHS services to our 20,000 registered patients. We operate from 2 sites across town, the largest of which is on Kings Road in Harrogate. We have a staff team of around 60 people including 7 GP Partners, 3 Salaried GP's, several GP Registrars, Advanced Nurse Practitioners and 8 Nurses as well as our Admin and Operations teams.

The successful candidate will join our hard-working reception team to provide an exceptional standard of customer service to our patients. We are looking for individuals who:

  • have experience of working in a busy, fast paced environment
  • can think on their feet and multi-task
  • can keep calm under pressure
  • are computer literate
  • have excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to work to a high standard
  • have a positive, ‘can do’ attitude
  • be flexible, available as required to cover extra shifts as overtime for holiday and absence cover

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: From £12.74 per hour, rising to £12.94 per hour after successful completion of your probation period.

Expected hours: 15-36 hours per week (negotiable and can be discussed at interview) within our practice opening hours of 08.00-18.30
