Full job description

We are a GP Practice , situated in Selston Village Nottinghamshire.

We cover more than 5000 registered patients and deliver a full range of modern medical services , through a highly skilled dedicated and professional team.

Our aim is to provide excellent and high quality service that combines the personal care of a traditional family GP.

We are looking to recruit an EXPERIENCED GP receptionist to join our friendly GP practice.

A minimum of one years experienced at a GP Practice

30 hours per week

Must have valid authorisation to work in the UK

Job description:

· Delivering a first class service to our patients and making appointments both face to face and by telephone. Assisting and directing patients to the appropriate service or health care professional , in a courteous, effective way.

· Responding to queries in accordance with practice procedures and undertaking administrative support to the GPs, Nurses and HCAs.

· To undertake a variety of administrative duties to assist in the smooth running of the practice, including the provision of secretarial and clerical support to the clinical staff and other members of the practice team.

· Preferred experience using Systm One and we now work with Systm connect

· You will also need to have

· . PREVIOUS reception/admin experience.

· . Excellent customer service skills.

· . Experience of using IT systems.

· . Good inter-personal skills.

· . Good Telephone manner

The candidate will need to be motivated, enthusiastic and able to work as part of a team and on own initiative. To be reliable/ flexible and have a “can do “attitude to work, have good communications skills and attention to detail.

Able to work under pressure and must be able to demonstrate good customer service skills, and multi-tasking.

Confidentiality is key to this role.

To be flexible for holiday cover if and when necessary.
