Norvic Healthcare is a family run business registered as a Domiciliary care provider located in Taverham. With over 20 years of experience in providing homecare to the community we are committed to be one of the best in our industry. We support individuals at home with varying needs relating to physical health, disability, mental health, and dementia.

This is an exciting time to be joining Norvic Healthcare. An opportunity has arisen to join our team as a Care Co-Ordinator.

We are seeking an enthusiastic individual with a positive can-do outlook with a passion about what they do.

Working Hours

  • 40 + hours per week on a rota basis Monday-Friday, with additional overtime as needed.
  • On-call duties are separate from regular working hours.
  • Flexible availability required, including coverage on weekends.

The main duties of the role will include:

· Planning, Coordinating, and scheduling of the service for clients.

· Organising all rota`s and making sure that all Carers have their schedules in advanced

· Liaising with the client, their family, and the team to ensure the client is satisfied

· Ensure that the Client/Care professional are well matched.

· Complete care plans correctly and accordingly

· Assessing patient needs and goals.

· Responsible for our fleet of cars, monitoring service history and any reported damage and allocating the fleet for our healthcare rounds.

· Be the first line of contact for general enquires.

· Monitor the training needs of staff

· Welcoming visitors to the office, in a friendly professional manner

· Answering phone calls and taking messages or forwarding to the appropriate member of staff.

· Participate in the on-call rota

Key skills and attributes that we are looking for are:

· Strong IT and organisational skills

· Previous care experience and experience in a care coordinating role

· Excellent written and spoken communication skills

· Good literacy and numeracy skills

· Ability to prioritise tasks

· Ability to work autonomously and with initiative

· 'Can do' approach

· Professional in manner and appearance, and friendly disposition

· Good team player

· Able to travel within the County as required

· A commitment to equal opportunities, diversity and confidentiality

· Full UK Driving license

· Enhanced DBS (preferred)
