Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and organised Podiatry Clinic Administrator to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing daily administrative operations within the clinic, ensuring smooth patient flow, and supporting clinical staff. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with office experience who are keen to work in a healthcare environment. The ideal applicant will possess strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and a professional manner to provide exceptional service to our patients and staff.

Working days are Thursday / Friday.

Responsibilities

  • Managing patient appointments, scheduling, and cancellations efficiently
  • Greeting patients and assisting with check-in procedures
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with data protection regulations
  • Handling phone enquiries, email correspondence, and general administrative tasks
  • Processing billing, payments, and insurance claims accurately
  • Coordinating with clinical staff to ensure smooth daily operations
  • Managing stock levels of clinic supplies and ordering as necessary
  • Ensuring the cleanliness and organisation of the reception area
  • Supporting the clinic’s compliance with health and safety protocols

Experience

  • Prior office experience is essential, preferably within a healthcare or medical setting
  • Familiarity with patient management software or electronic health records systems is advantageous
  • Excellent organisational skills with a keen eye for detail
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
