Job Summary

Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Support Medical Secretary, where your organizational skills and compassionate approach will play a vital role in ensuring smooth clinic operations. Responsibilities

  • Manage patient scheduling by coordinating appointments, follow-ups, and cancellations with precision and professionalism
  • Handle incoming calls promptly, providing clear information and directing inquiries to appropriate medical staff
  • Prepare and organize medical documentation, including reports, referrals, and correspondence, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality
  • Maintain accurate patient records within the electronic health record system, updating information as needed
  • Support clinic operations by ordering supplies, managing inventory, and ensuring administrative tasks are completed efficiently
  • Assist with billing procedures and insurance documentation to facilitate smooth financial processes
  • Collaborate with medical staff to streamline communication and improve patient experience through proactive support

Experience

  • Prior office experience demonstrating strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Administrative experience in a healthcare or medical setting is highly preferred
  • Proficiency in using office software such as Microsoft Office Suite or equivalent tools
  • Excellent communication skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
  • Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy
  • Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems is advantageous
