Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and organised Patient Coordinator to join our healthcare team. This role is vital in ensuring smooth communication between patients and medical staff, managing appointments, and maintaining accurate records. The ideal candidate will possess excellent administrative skills, a compassionate attitude, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently. Responsibilities

  • Greet patients warmly and professionally upon arrival, ensuring they feel welcomed and comfortable
  • Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments using our administrative systems
  • Manage patient records with accuracy and confidentiality, updating details as needed
  • Answer phone calls, respond to enquiries, and direct calls appropriately
  • Assist with the preparation of patient documentation and forms for appointments or procedures
  • Coordinate with medical staff to facilitate smooth clinic operations
  • Maintain organised filing systems both digitally and physically
  • Support administrative tasks such as data entry, billing, and processing payments where applicable

Requirements

  • Previous office experience or administrative experience is highly desirable
  • Excellent organisational skills with keen attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Compassionate demeanour with a professional attitude towards patient care
  • Proficiency in standard office software (e.g., MS Office Suite)
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities within the healthcare setting
