Full job description

Job Title: Admissions and Triage Coordinator

Company: Orchestrate Health

Location: Leicester LE1 (Primarily office-based, with one day remote per week once settled in)

Job Type: Full-time | Hybrid

About Orchestrate Health Services

Orchestrate Health Services is a CQC-registered private mental health provider delivering psychiatrist-led multidisciplinary care for adults with moderate-to-severe needs. Our four programmes — Crisis & Admission Avoidance, Post-Discharge Stabilisation, Intensive Outpatient, and Re-integration & Recovery — are delivered virtually, in-home, and through NHS Open Spaces, coordinated from our service centre in central Leicester.

We are a small, focused team building something distinctive in UK mental health: structured, programme-based, outcomes-evidenced care that sits between weekly outpatient therapy and inpatient admission.

The Role

The Admissions and Triage Coordinator is the operational front door of OHS. Every referral — from GPs, consultant psychiatrists, discharging hospitals, EAPs, or self-pay enquiries — comes through this role first.

You will gather clinical information, complete structured risk-screening assessments, flag urgency, and book triage slots with the Consultant Psychiatrist. You then coordinate everything between referral acceptance and programme commencement.

This is not a clinical decision-making role — all clinical decisions sit with the Consultant Psychiatrist. It does require clinical literacy, careful judgement under pressure, and operational reliability. The people contacting OHS are often in distress; this role shapes their first experience of us.

What We're Looking For

A mental health background is preferred — RMN, HCA, Occupational Therapist, mental health support worker, or similar .

The people who do this role well tend to be:

  • Calm under pressure
  • Genuinely organised
  • Clinically literate enough to read a referral and recognise what matters
  • Able to speak with warmth and authority to patients, families, and referring clinicians

What We Offer

  • £40,000 – £49,000 per annum, depending on experience and clinical background
  • Eligibility for the OHS bonus pot based on individual and service-level performance
  • Car parking paid
  • 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays
  • Pension and standard healthcare benefits
  • Full training on the OHS triage framework, structured screening tools, and EPR/CRM systems
  • Clinical and operational supervision through our structured governance framework

Pay: £40,000.00-£49,000.00 per year

Benefits:

  • Company pension
  • Free parking
  • Private medical insurance

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Leicester, Leicestershire: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Application question(s):

  • Are you a qualified nurse (RMN or RGN)? If yes, what NHS band are you currently or were you most recently working at?

Licence/Certification:

  • NMC (required)

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Leicester
