Full job description

Bridge House Clinic is a growing private multidisciplinary clinic located between Chester and Wrexham. We bring together experienced consultants and healthcare professionals across a wide range of specialties, providing high-quality, patient-centred care in a welcoming and modern environment.

We're looking for a warm, organised and enthusiastic person to join our friendly team.No two days at Bridge House Clinic are the same. Some days you'll be welcoming a steady flow of patients, while on others you'll have the opportunity to focus on administrative tasks, helping with marketing, organising the clinic, and supporting new projects. We're looking for someone who enjoys variety, takes initiative, and is happy to get involved wherever needed.

This is much more than a reception role. You'll be the welcoming face of our private clinic, helping to create an exceptional experience for every patient while supporting our consultants and ensuring the clinic runs smoothly every day.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Welcoming patients and providing outstanding customer service.
  • Managing appointments, telephone calls and emails.
  • Supporting consultants and the wider clinical team.
  • Preparing consultation and treatment rooms for the day, ensuring they are clean, tidy and ready for patients.
  • Maintaining a welcoming, organised reception and clinic environment throughout the day.
  • Processing payments and assisting with general administrative tasks.
  • Helping with marketing, social media, and other projects to support the growth of the clinic.
  • Taking initiative during quieter periods by helping improve processes, keeping the clinic organised and supporting the team wherever needed.
  • Working as part of a supportive team to deliver the highest standard of patient care.

We'd love to meet someone who:

✔ Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

✔ Is friendly, professional and genuinely enjoys helping people.

✔ Is organised, proactive and able to multitask.

✔ Has excellent attention to detail.

✔ Is confident using computers and willing to learn new systems.

✔ Is self-motivated and happy to work independently when needed.

✔ Is reliable, flexible, and enjoys working as part of a team.

✔ Takes pride in delivering exceptional customer service.

Previous experience as a Receptionist, Medical Receptionist, Clinic Administrator or Patient Coordinator is an advantage but is not essential—we're happy to train the right person with the right attitude.

What we offer:

-Part-time role (16–35 hours per week).

-Competitive pay from £13.50 per hour, depending on experience.

-Annual salary review based on performance.

-Birthday gift from the clinic.

-Ongoing training and development.

-The opportunity to work alongside experienced consultants across a range of medical specialties.

-Excellent career progression, with the potential to grow into a Clinic Manager role as the clinic continues to expand.

-A friendly, supportive workplace where your ideas and contribution are genuinely valued.

If you're looking for a role where every day is different, where you'll make a real difference to patients, and where you can grow with an ambitious private clinic, we'd love to hear from you.

We hire for attitude and potential as much as experience. If you're enthusiastic, caring, organised and willing to learn, we'd love to hear from you—even if you don't meet every single requirement listed above.

Please send your CV and a short cover letter telling us why you'd be a great fit for our team.
