Job Title: Matching Social Worker

Location: Regionally covering London/South

Contract Type: 12 months fixed term contract

Hours: 37.5 per week

Salary: £36,000 - £46,000 dependent on experience

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated, enthusiastic and experienced Matching Social Worker to join our Referral Hubs team.

You will be part of one of our nine Referral Hubs across England, which act as the front door to our organisation and play a critical role in ensuring we match our fantastic foster carers with the right child. Through safe and thoughtful matching, our teams help to provide children and young people with the safety, stability and support they need to achieve positive outcomes.

In this rewarding role, you will be responsible for identifying safe, stable and well-matched fostering placements for children and young people. Working closely with Referral Coordinators, Supervising Social Workers, foster carers and Local Authorities, you will gather and assess information, complete matching and risk assessments, and ensure children receive the right support to achieve positive outcomes.

You'll be confident making informed decisions, managing competing priorities and working collaboratively with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
