The Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity to join StayAhead Training as a Python Trainer, delivering high-quality, engaging learning experiences to clients across the UK and beyond.

Working remotely, you’ll play a key role in delivering our Python training portfolio, both virtually and in person, helping learners develop real, practical coding capability. Through live coding sessions, you’ll bring concepts to life and ensure learners can confidently apply their skills in real-world environments. Alongside delivery, you’ll contribute to the ongoing development of our course portfolio, ensuring our content remains current, relevant, and aligned with industry best practice.

About You

You’re an experienced Python developer with a passion for helping others build real, practical coding skills. You bring at least two years’ hands-on experience in Python, with strong knowledge of key libraries and frameworks such as Pandas, NumPy, Django or Flask.

You have a solid understanding of areas such as data analysis, automation and/or web development, and ideally exposure to a broader technology stack (e.g. HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, Java, C#, PHP, React, SQL/NoSQL or Linux).

Alongside your technical expertise, you’re confident delivering training in a clear, engaging, and structured way. You have experience teaching, training, or facilitating learning, ideally in a technical environment, and bring strong presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills that enable you to engage diverse audiences. You can break down complex concepts into accessible, practical learning and have experience designing or contributing to training materials, workshops, or learning programmes.

You’re personable, adaptable, and commercially aware, able to tailor your delivery to different learning styles and skill levels while building strong relationships with clients and colleagues. Above all, you’re enthusiastic about continuous learning and staying up to date with the latest developments in coding and technology.

What will you be doing?

In this role, you will deliver StayAhead’s Python training courses, using live coding to create engaging, practical learning experiences that build real capability. Alongside delivery, you will design and develop high-quality course materials, modules, and resources, ensuring content remains current and aligned with industry best practice. You’ll work with a wide range of learners, tailoring your approach to different skill levels and learning styles to maximise impact. You will also play a key role in evolving and expanding the course portfolio in line with emerging technologies and client needs, while collaborating with external trainers where required. As part of your wider contribution, you’ll support business growth by contributing to sales opportunities and proposals, as well as marketing activity through blogs, whitepapers, and case studies that showcase your expertise.

What you get in return/Why join StayAhead Training?

At StayAhead Training, you’ll join a forward-thinking organisation recognised for delivering high-quality technical training, where you’ll have the flexibility to work remotely (some onsite delivery may be required) while remaining part of a collaborative and supportive team. This role offers the opportunity to play a key part in shaping and evolving our Python training portfolio, combining hands-on delivery with creativity and innovation. You’ll be able to continuously develop your own technical expertise in a fast-moving landscape, contribute directly to client success, and make a visible impact within a business that values your ideas, recognises your contribution, and invests in your professional growth
