Full job description

Overview

MeAlign is a UK digital healthcare company focused on delivering clinically led healthcare through secure online consultations.

Our mission is to become one of the UK's leading digital hormone optimisation and preventative healthcare platforms by providing safe, evidence-based and patient-centred care.

At launch, MeAlign will provide specialist programmes in:

  • Testosterone Replacement Therapy (TRT)
  • Medical Weight Management (GLP-1)
  • Hair Restoration

Patients receive personalised treatment plans, ongoing monitoring and continuous clinical support through our secure digital platform.

The Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated General Practitioner to join our growing clinical team on a part-time basis.

You will provide remote consultations, assess patient suitability for treatment and manage patients receiving specialist therapies within clearly defined clinical protocols.

This is an excellent opportunity to join an ambitious healthcare company at an early stage while enjoying flexible remote working.

Responsibilities

You will:

  • Conduct remote video consultations.
  • Assess new patient referrals.
  • Review medical questionnaires and blood test results.
  • Diagnose and assess patient suitability for treatment.
  • Prescribe medications where clinically appropriate.
  • Monitor patients receiving TRT, GLP-1 and hair restoration treatments.
  • Conduct follow-up consultations.
  • Maintain accurate electronic clinical records.
  • Work within MeAlign's clinical governance framework.
  • Escalate complex cases where appropriate.

Essential Requirements

Applicants must have:

  • Current GMC registration with a licence to practise.
  • Experience working as a GP.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Confidence conducting remote consultations.
  • Professional indemnity insurance.
  • Right to undertake the proposed working arrangement.

Desirable Experience

Experience in any of the following would be advantageous:

  • Men's Health.
  • Hormone Optimisation.
  • Testosterone Replacement Therapy (TRT).
  • Obesity Medicine.
  • GLP-1 therapies.
  • Hair Restoration.
  • Telemedicine.
  • Lifestyle Medicine.

Training can be provided in our clinical pathways where required.

What We Offer

  • Fully remote working.
  • Flexible schedule (3days per week).
  • Competitive remuneration.
  • Modern digital healthcare platform.
  • Administrative support.
  • Opportunity to help shape a growing healthcare business.
  • Long-term opportunities as the Company expands.

About Our Patients

Our patients are adults seeking clinically supervised treatment for hormone optimisation, medical weight management and hair restoration.

We pride ourselves on delivering evidence-based care, exceptional patient experience and long-term clinical relationships rather than transactional prescribing.

How to Apply

Please submit:

  • Your CV.
  • GMC Number.
  • Brief cover letter outlining your experience.
  • Availability.
  • Earliest possible start date.

Successful applicants will be invited to an initial video interview followed by clinical onboarding.

Why Join MeAlign?

This is an opportunity to join an ambitious healthcare company from the beginning and play a key role in building what we aim to become the UK's leading digital hormone optimisation and longevity platform. We are committed to delivering safe, ethical and high-quality patient care while creating a supportive and flexible working environment for our clinicians.

Pay: From £29,000.00 per year
