Penkz Limited Care Services is looking for caring, reliable and dedicated Healthcare Support Workers to join our team. The successful candidates will provide high-quality care and support to adults in their own homes, helping them maintain their independence, dignity and quality of life.

You will work closely with clients, their families and other healthcare professionals to ensure that individual care needs are met safely and respectfully.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing person-centred care and support in clients' homes.
  • Supporting clients with personal care, including washing, dressing, toileting and showering.
  • Assisting with mobility and transfers where required.
  • Supporting clients with meal preparation and basic household tasks related to their care.
  • Providing companionship and emotional support.
  • Supporting clients to maintain their independence and dignity.
  • Following individual care plans and risk assessments.
  • Prompting or assisting with medication in accordance with the client's care plan and company procedures.
  • Reporting any changes in a client's condition or wellbeing to the appropriate person.
  • Maintaining accurate and timely care records.
  • Following safeguarding, health and safety, infection control and other company policies.
  • Working respectfully with clients, families and colleagues.

About You

Previous experience in healthcare or social care is desirable, but full training may be provided for the right candidates.

Requirements

  • Right to work in the UK.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Ability to travel to clients within the required areas.
  • Willingness to complete relevant training.
  • A DBS check will be required as part of the recruitment process.
  • Previous care experience is desirable.
