What You’ll Be Doing

This is a hands-on, rewarding role where no two days are the same. You’ll support adults to live fulfilling, independent lives by:

  • Supporting daily routines and life skills through Positive Behaviour Support
  • Encouraging independence and choice everyday
  • Building life skills attending our Learning Hub
  • Community engagement visiting local shops, museums, and enjoying lunch out.
  • Providing personal care
  • Building meaningful, supportive relationships
  • Enjoying walking, trips to the beach, cycling, swimming and other outdoor activities

What We’re Looking For

We’re more interested in the right attitude rather than just qualifications. Full training will be provided.

You’ll need:

  • Enhanced DBS – if you’re not on the update service we will apply for your DBS
  • A positive, “can-do” attitude
  • Strong teamwork skills working with others to ensure all key tasks and documentation is completed to a high standard
  • Excellent communication skills
  • A genuine passion for supporting others and making a difference
  • A love for outdoor activities – your enthusiasm makes a difference.
  • Flexibility to work an average of 39 hours over 5 days
  •  A UK driving licence is required

Experience in care (including personal care) is helpful but not essential.
