Full job description

About the role:

You will be working for a premier complex care provider that is CQC-regulated and nurse-led. The immediate requirement is for a female patient with catastrophic brain injury. Italian speaker preferred but not mandatory

Must be able to drive the client's WAV to drive her to various activities.

Responsibilities:
- Provide compassionate and personalized care to patient in their private residence
- Assist patient with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting

- Work with a team of therapists to provide care for patient.

- Take patient out of the house for leisure activities, including but not limited to, the coffee shop, getting her nails done etc.
- Administer medications and monitor vital signs under the direction of a nurse or healthcare professional.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patient and their family
- Document patient observations, progress, and any changes in condition.
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation.
- Transport patients to medical appointments or social outings as needed.

Skills:
- Excellent patient care skills with a focus on compassion and empathy.
- Experience working with complex care patients, especially patients with brain injury
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
