Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals in care homes and home care settings, assisting with daily living activities and ensuring the highest standards of care. Your ability to communicate effectively and your IT skills will be vital in maintaining accurate care plans and documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Assist residents with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Support individuals in daily living activities, promoting independence and dignity.
  • Implement care plans as directed by healthcare professionals, ensuring all needs are met.
  • Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in residents' conditions.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, and the healthcare team to ensure continuity of care.
  • Drive to various locations as required for home care assignments.
  • Participate in training sessions and continuous professional development.

Qualifications

  • MANDATORY - YOU HAVE TO COMPLETE YOUR LEVEL 2 IN HEALTH AND SOCIAL CARE FIRST - Class is two days a week ONLINE
  • Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
  • Basic IT skills for maintaining records and documentation.
  • A valid driving licence is desirable for roles involving home visits.
  • A compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others.
