Contract: Permanent | Flexible working options

Some people are naturally caring.
If that’s you, this role could be more than just a job.

We’re looking for kind, dependable female Care Assistants who want to support people to live safely and happily in their own homes, while being supported just as well themselves.

You don’t need previous care experience. What matters most is your compassion, reliability, and willingness to learn.

We Pay You Fairly, For All Your Time

Your time matters. That’s why you’re paid not only for time spent with clients, but also for travelling between visits, calculated fairly and accurately to reflect your real day.

  • £14.00 per hour (weekdays)
  • £16.00 per hour (weekends)
  • £13.50 per hour for travel time
  • 45p per mile mileage

Working Patterns That Fit Real Life

We offer flexibility wherever possible, with:

  • Full-time and part-time roles available
  • Morning shifts: 7am – 2pm
  • Evening shifts: 4pm – 10pm
  • Alternate weekends, or every Saturday or Sunday
  • Occasional night shifts available (10pm – 7am)

You’ll Never Be Left to Figure It Out Alone

Every new Care Assistant completes a 12-week supported induction and onboarding programme, designed to help you feel confident, capable, and safe in your role.

This includes:

  • A warm introduction to the team, values, and care approach
  • Training on safeguarding, equality, and person-centred care
  • Practical moving & handling with equipment
  • Basic life support, medication support, and pressure care
  • Health & safety, hygiene, and food preparation

You’ll also have a dedicated mentor during your first 12 weeks, someone who checks in, answers questions, and supports you every step of the way.

What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll be supporting people in the community who need help to remain independent in their own homes. Your day may include:

  • Personal care delivered with dignity and respect
  • Helping with household tasks
  • Medication support
  • Offering companionship and reassurance

Often, the most important thing you give is your time, your patience, and your kindness.

Who This Role Is Perfect For

We welcome applications from all backgrounds. Many of our best Care Assistants previously worked in:

  • Retail or hospitality
  • Education or childcare
  • Sales or customer service
  • Delivery driving or warehouse roles
  • Office-based or work-from-home jobs

If you’re caring by nature and ready for a role with meaning, we’d love to hear from you.

We also welcome experienced carers, including those with backgrounds as Care Assistants, Support Workers, Healthcare Assistants, or in care homes.

What You’ll Need

  • A full UK driving licence
  • Your own reliable vehicle
  • Excellent spoken English
  • The right to work in the UK (sponsorship is not available)
  • Ideally living within reasonable distance of the local area

There is a genuine occupational requirement for female staff in line with Schedule 9, Paragraph 1 of the Equality Act 2010.

Benefits

  • Company pension
  • Employee discounts
  • Flexible working options
  • Referral programme

If this feels like the kind of role you’ve been looking for, or if you know in your heart that you could make a real difference in someone’s day, we’d love you to apply and take that first step

Pay: £14.00-£16.00 per hour
