About Us

Hola, we’re DAMM, founded in Barcelona in 1876. We specialise in the manufacture and distribution of beverages, mainly beer – you may know us for our flagship beer Estrella!

Our company values LIVE (Loyalty, Innovation, Customer Value and Energy) inspire everything we do!

As a drive for growth, we have opened our first base outside of the Iberian strip, the Eagle Brewery in Bedford, which has undergone a massive transformation and glow-up, this growth has provided new development opportunities and vacancies, such as this one!

  • Play an integral role in verifying sample quality throughout the brewing process and carbonated soft‑drink production by operating a range of analytical instruments, including spectroscopy and gas chromatography systems.
  • Execute and monitor tasks related to Quality, Food Safety, and Food Defence within assigned work areas.

Housekeeping & Compliance

  • Maintain high standards of housekeeping to support a clean, safe, and audit‑ready laboratory environment.
  • Follow all SOPs, good laboratory practice (GLP), and safety procedures including chemical, equipment, and general laboratory controls.

What We’re Looking For

Experience

  • Ideally 2 years’ experience working in a laboratory environment with a good understanding of workplace Health & Safety regulations; however, this can be an entry‑level role for candidates with the right qualifications and behavioural attributes.
  • Practical experience handling hazardous chemicals, specialist gases, laboratory apparatus, and analytical instruments.
  • Experience working different shift patterns is desirable.
  • Experience within soft‑drinks or beverage production (ingredients, preparation), canning lines, or keg plants is desirable.

Key Behaviours

  • Proactive problem‑solver with the ability to find practical solutions to technical challenges.
  • Organised and able to manage time effectively, prioritise multiple samples, and multitask in a fast‑paced laboratory environment.
  • Demonstrates a strong awareness of safety, accuracy, and compliance in all laboratory activities.
