Job Title: Occupational Health Screening Nurse
Location: Dundee with travel to Kincardine and Aberdeen
Salary: Up to £36,500 per annum + car allowance
Contract Type: Permanent
Hours: Full time, 37.5 hours (Monday to Friday)
Right to live and work in the UK is required for this role
Role Summary
We are looking for an Occupational Health Screening Nurse to join the Optima team. This is a varied role, carrying out a mixture of immunisations, health surveillance, medicals for blue light clients and pre employment. Dundee is the base location with occasional travel to Kincardine and Aberdeen.

Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Delivering a range of Occupational Health services and clinics for our client, with a focus on immunisations and vaccinations.
- Advise our clients on current immunisation services and recommendations for improvement.
- Conducting immunisation health assessments and surveillance, relating to potential exposure to health risks at work.
- Promoting employee health and wellbeing for our clients and across the wider business.
- Giving health education on relevant issues, promoting a healthy lifestyle to all employees in order to maximise participation in activities at work and elsewhere.
- Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team by sharing knowledge, supporting and challenging your peers.
- Maintaining registration and Continuous Professional Development by meeting or exceeding standards set by the NMC.
Experience, skills and knowledge required for the role
- Registered General Nurse
- Some experience of delivering injections
- Experience of delivering immunisations or venepuncture
- Current NMC Registration
