Full job description

We are seeking a detail-driven Transcribers to support a market research project at this award-winning facility, a leading hub for qualitative research, focus groups, and client studies. You will need your own laptop.

Role:

  • Transcribe in real time from focus groups into accurate written transcripts
  • Ensure verbatim accuracy, capturing tone, nuance, and speaker contributions
  • Proofread and edit transcripts for grammar, spelling, and clarity
  • Clearly identify multiple speakers within group discussions
  • Format transcripts in line with client or project requirements

You:

  • Previous experience in transcription (ideally within market research or focus groups)
  • Excellent listening skills with the ability to interpret varied accents and group dialogue
  • Fast, accurate typing with strong attention to detail
  • High standard of written English (grammar & punctuation)
