Support Worker Required For Female with learning difficulties and multiple health conditions (Part-Time/Flexible Hours) – Personal/Domestic & Community Support (Leeds 4)

Location: Leeds 4
Rate of Pay: Mon-Fri £13.23 p/hr
Sat/Sun £16.54 p/hr
Hours: Flexible, part-time (to be discussed)
Start Date: As soon as a suitable candidate is found

About the Role:

I am looking for a kind, reliable, and understanding female support worker to assist me with daily activities and help me access the community.

You’ll be helping me with tasks that support my independence, communication, and social life.
Patience is of the utmost importance, as building trust and working at my pace is essential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supporting with communication tasks such as:
  • Making phone calls (e.g. appointments)
  • Reading and managing paperwork
  • Accompanying me to:
  • GP/Hospital visits
  • Appointments, errands, or essential outings
  • Social activities or local events
  • Doing outreach work to explore local community opportunities and activities
  • Providing general companionship and social support
  • Encouraging my independence when out and about

Essential Requirements:

  • Must drive and have access to your own car
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written)
  • Patient, calm, and respectful
  • Friendly, reliable, and organised
  • Able to maintain professional boundaries and confidentiality
  • Confident supporting someone 1:1 in both home and community settings

Desirable:
  • Experience working with individuals with additional needs
  • Knowledge of local community resources or activities in the Leeds area

Additional Information:
  • A DBS check and references will be required
  • Any necessary training can be provided or arranged
