About Psicon

Psicon is a specialist neurodevelopmental service working collaboratively with various NHS trusts to provide Autism and ADHD Assessments and ADHD Medication Management. About the Roles

We are looking for skilled medical administrators to join our ADHD Medication Management Service as Prescription Clerks and Care Navigators. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to our ‘Meet the Team’ recruitment events at our Burgate Operations Centre in either July and August (Minimum 3 Hours attendance required)

Principle duties and responsibilities:

  • Coordinating repeat prescription requests, ensuring clinicians complete these in a timely manner so clients have adequate supplies of medication.
  • Managing prescriptions across all ADHD medication management services including logging and ensuring there is an audit trail for each prescription.
  • Processing prescriptions and ensuring adequate communication with clients in regards to the progress of their request.
  • Ensuring printed prescriptions are scanned, uploaded to patient records, and posted to the client/pharmacy in a timely manner.
  • Dealing with patient enquiries in relation to their prescription request or ongoing care and escalating enquiries from patients in relation to medication including concerns and reports of side-effects.
  • Administration of ADHD caseloads across the lifespan and different service pathways.
  • Monitoring a caseload of clients to ensure appointments are booked as clinically required and clear communication is provided in relation to their care with Psicon.
  • Ensure medication review letters are sent out within 2 working days and any follow up actions, such as onwards referrals, are completed promptly.
  • Obtaining information from clinicians and ensuring correspondence is provided to client, GP, and any other relevant parties following each appointment.

  • Excellent interpersonal & judgement skills.
  • Experience of working to KPI targets and tight deadlines whilst balancing competing priorities within a busy environment.
  • Ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining a calm professional demeanour.
  • Committed to providing the best quality service and achieving the highest standards of client care.
  • Outstanding communication skills and the ability to communicate with diverse groups of individuals.
  • Able to establish and maintain productive professional relationships with colleagues.

The role is based in the centre of Canterbury, Kent (Please note there is no onsite parking). The core hours are 09:00-17:00 with 3 days in office / 2 WFH (37.5h contract).
