Location: MM Flowers Ltd, Pierson Road, The Enterprise Campus, Alconbury Weald, Huntingdon, PE28 4YA
Salary: £38,049.71pa (£18.13ph)
Hours: Average 40.25 hours per week
Shift Pattern: 4on 4off
Contract: Full-time
Benefits: BUPA private medical cover (employee only) | 5% matched pension

Lead, Support, and Drive Performance at MM Flowers

MM Flowers is looking for an experienced and motivated Despatch Section Leader to oversee the day-to-day operations of our despatch team. This is a key leadership role focused on ensuring all customer orders are picked, packed, and dispatched accurately and on time.

You’ll work closely with the Despatch Section Manager to drive performance, lead a team, and continuously improve operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise picking, packing, and dispatch to ensure accuracy and efficiency
  • Ensure all orders are dispatched on time and meet company standards
  • Lead, motivate, and support the despatch team
  • Allocate tasks and manage workloads effectively
  • Monitor performance and provide feedback and coaching
  • Lead, motivate, and support the despatch team

What we're looking for?

  • Experience in a warehouse or despatch environment
  • Previous supervisory or team leadership experience
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement
  • Basic IT skills (WMS, Microsoft Office)
  • Forklift licence (or willingness to obtain)
  • Experience in a similar leadership role within despatch/logistics
