At R A Rodriguez (UK) Limited, we have been supplying high-quality industrial engineering solutions for decades. Working with leading global manufacturers, we provide bearings, linear motion systems, power transmission, automation, gearboxes, actuators and motion control products to customers across a wide range of industries.

As our business continues to grow, we're looking for a motivated and organised Sales Support Coordinator to join our friendly office team in Shefford. This is an excellent opportunity for someone e with previous office or commercial experience who enjoys helping customers and working as part of a close-knit team.

The Role

You'll play an important part in supporting both our customers and our external sales engineers, helping to ensure enquiries are handled efficiently from initial contact through to delivery. Every day is different. You'll be speaking with customers, preparing quotations, processing orders, working with suppliers and helping customers find the right solution for their application. As your knowledge develops, you'll gain an understanding of our products and industries, becoming a trusted point of contact for both customers and colleagues.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Responding to customer enquiries by telephone and email.
  • Preparing accurate quotations using information from suppliers and manufacturers.
  • Processing customer orders and ensuring information is entered accurately.
  • Supporting the external sales team with quotations, customer follow-up and account administration.
  • Updating and maintaining our CRM system.
  • Liaising with suppliers to obtain pricing and delivery information.
  • Keeping customers informed of order progress and delivery schedules.
  • Resolving post-order queries professionally and efficiently.
  • Building positive, long-term relationships with customers.
  • Identifying opportunities to introduce additional products or services where appropriate.
  • Working closely with colleagues across sales, purchasing and warehouse operations.
  • Providing occasional support within the warehouse during busy periods, including picking, packing and despatch where required.

Experience in customer service, administration, sales support or office environments would be an advantage.
