The Role

We are looking for a compassionate and experienced Senior Carer to join our dedicated team. As a Senior Carer, you will lead by example, support the care team, and ensure every resident receives safe, high-quality care that promotes dignity, independence and wellbeing.

Your Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional person-centred care.
  • Lead and support the care team throughout each shift.
  • Administer medication (where trained and competent).
  • Complete accurate care documentation.
  • Monitor residents' wellbeing and report any concerns promptly.
  • Build positive relationships with residents, families and healthcare professionals.
  • Promote a safe, caring and respectful environment.

About You

  • SVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or working towards).
  • Previous experience in a Senior Carer role within a care home.
  • Medication administration experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Compassionate, reliable and committed to delivering exceptional care.
  • SSSC registered (or willing to register).
