Scientific Communication Officer, Scientist, Life Sciences, COR7615

A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen for a Scientific Communication Officer to join a scientific research company based in Oxford. This is an excellent opportunity for a Scientist with a passion for communication, or a communications professional looking to specialise in scientific communications.

The Role
This position has come about as a result of growth, as my client continues to expand its international collaborations and scientific outreach. The Scientific Communication Officer will be responsible for creating and delivering high-quality scientific content, managing social media, websites, and events, and promoting the company’s work to audiences ranging from scientists to the general public.

The Scientific Communication Officer will be joining an exciting scientific research company who work collaboratively with teams across the globe. The goal of the company is to promote vital scientific research by giving researchers access to equipment, training, and expertise.

What’s Required of the Scientific Communication Officer?
  • Educated to postgraduate level in structural biology or a related life sciences discipline

  • Experience working internationally, or knowledge of a second European language, is desirable but not essential
