Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Freelance Nurse Educator to deliver specialised training and support within social care settings. This role involves providing expert guidance on patient care practices, enhancing staff knowledge, and promoting best practices in health and social care environments. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical expertise, particularly in anatomy and patient care, and be committed to improving standards of care through education. This position offers flexible freelance engagement, allowing you to contribute your expertise remotely or on-site as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver comprehensive training sessions on patient care protocols tailored to social care settings
  • Assess the learning needs of social care staff and adapt training approaches accordingly
  • Provide expert advice on anatomy and clinical procedures to enhance understanding and application in daily practice
  • Support organisations in implementing best practices for patient safety and wellbeing
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programmes through feedback and assessments
  • Stay updated with current healthcare guidelines, policies, and innovations relevant to social care environments
  • Driving to care homes across Bristol and South West and surrounding areas

Requirements

  • Proven experience in nursing with a strong focus on patient care within social or community settings
  • Essential : Registered NMC Nurses (community)
  • Essential : Educational background in Higher Education
  • Essential : Equipment for training
  • Clean driving licence
  • In-depth knowledge of human anatomy and clinical procedures
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging diverse audiences effectively
  • Organised with the ability to develop clear educational content and resources
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently on a freelance basis
  • Flexibility to deliver training both remotely and in various social care environments as required
  • Relevant nursing qualifications recognised within the UK healthcare system
