Everpool Recruitment, one of the UK’s leading Health and Social Care recruiters, is hiring Functional Assessors across the UK for hybrid roles (home and office based).
  • No nights.
  • No weekends.
  • No bank holidays.

Salary
  • PIP Assessor (3 assessments per day): £47,000 + 5% of salary bonus when training is passed. Up to 10% performance bonus per year.
  • WCA Assessor (5–6 shorter assessments per day): £50,000 + 5% of salary bonus when training is passed. Up to 10% performance bonus per year.
  • Candidates should ideally be open to PIP or WCA depending on local availability.
Hours
  • Full-time (WCA/PIP)
  • Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm
  • Part-time (WCA Only)
  • 0.6 FTE (3 days)
  • 0.8 FTE (4 days)
  • PT must work Friday and can choose the remaining days to work.

What You’ll Do
  • Conduct structured assessments (telephone and face-to-face)
  • Review medical evidence and daily living impact
  • Produce detailed reports for the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP)
  • Make objective recommendations based on evidence
  • This is an assessment-focused role — no prescribing, no treatment plans, no shift pressures.
Training
  • 12-week paid training covering:
    • Assessment techniques
    • DWP guidelines
    • Report writing
    • You will be fully supported before working independently.
Who We’re Looking For
  • Registered Adult Nurses (NMC)
  • Occupational Therapists (HCPC)
  • Physiotherapists (HCPC)
  • Paramedics (HCPC) (PIP Only)
  • Pharmacists (GPhC) (PIP Only)
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 1-year post-registration experience in an adult setting
  • At least 1-year active registration
  • Strong communication and report writing skills
  • Confident IT and typing skills
  • Sponsorship is not available.
