Care Assessor

Hybrid

Office location: Eynsham, Oxfordshire

12 month fixed term maternity contract

Salary: £33,000 per annum

We’ve grown our services and our ways of working over the years to support the lives of the people we care for and the people who look after them. Providing high quality, personalised and specialist home care services throughout Oxfordshire and surrounding counties, we enable people to live in their own homes and communities for longer. We now have an exciting opportunity to join us as Care Assessor on a 12 month maternity cover.

Role Summary

The purpose of this role is to be accountable for the successful delivery of care to all clients, from the point of placement start up to ongoing management of staffing and care needs. Working in partnership with a Care Manager, you will ensure we continue to deliver a high level of customer service to our clients, their representatives, and our care workers through positive and proactive professional engagement in line with our values.

Key Responsibilities

  • Promoting Oxford Aunts’ culture, values, and ways of working.
  • Ensuring robust risk assessment and comprehensive care planning for clients in your portfolio.
  • Responsibility for carer retention and stability.
  • Ensuring full compliance with internal and external policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Delivery of placement management ensuring client retention and stability.
  • Supporting and maintaining organic sales growth.

Skills and Experience

Essential:

  • Experience in the health and social care sector with an understanding of the expectations of a carers role.
  • Ability to prioritise effectively, plan, and organise.
  • Strong risk assessor with appropriate knowledge to deliver safety for client and carer.
  • Articulate with excellent customer service skills.
  • Driver with a car based within a 70-mile radius of Oxford.
  • Happy to be part of an on-call service during the week and occasional weekends.

Desirable:

  • Role within the medical profession (Nursing, Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy).
  • Degree qualification or Care sector related minimum of Level 3.
