Adult Clinical Assessor | £47,000–£50,000 | Hybrid | Full Time & Part Time | Reading

Registered Nurses | Occupational Therapists | Physiotherapists | Paramedics | Pharmacists

Hybrid remote roles available across England | Full-time & Part-Time | Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm

We're recruiting Adult Clinical Assessors. You'll conduct telephone and face-to-face consultations, review medical evidence and produce clear, detailed reports for the DWP.

No previous assessor experience is required. Full training is provided.

  • £47,000–£50,000 starting salary
  • £1,000 salary increase after 6 months
  • Further £1,000 increase after 12 months

What You'll Be Doing

As an Adult Clinical Assessor, you'll:

  • Conduct telephone and face-to-face assessments
  • Explore how health conditions and disabilities affect functional ability
  • Review medical evidence and supporting information
  • Apply your clinical knowledge and professional judgement
  • Produce accurate, objective and evidence-based reports for the DWP

This is an assessment and report-writing role rather than hands-on clinical care.

Who We're Looking For

You'll need:

  • At least 1 year's post-registration experience in an adult clinical setting
  • Active NMC or HCPC registration
  • Strong communication and assessment skills
  • Good IT and report-writing ability
  • Confidence analysing clinical information and working independently
  • Full right to work in the UK

Suitable professionals include Registered Nurses, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists and Paramedics.
