Clinical Educator (Learning & Development)

Are you a registered healthcare professional with proven experience as a Clinical Educator, Practice Educator, Clinical Trainer or Learning & Development professional?

We're looking for an experienced Clinical Educator to design, deliver and continuously improve high-quality clinical training across HAAS, supporting colleagues through New Entrant Training, continuing professional development and wider workforce capability programmes.

Working within our Learning & Development team, you'll facilitate engaging classroom, virtual and blended learning, applying adult learning principles and inclusive learning practices to build learner confidence, competence and sustained performance. You'll translate complex clinical, operational and policy information into practical, accessible learning, while coaching learners and providing constructive feedback throughout their development.

Working closely with Learning & Development colleagues, Functional Assessor Trainers, Clinical Subject Matter Experts and Operational Leaders, you'll help ensure our training remains engaging, effective and aligned with business needs.

We're looking for someone with:

  • Current registration with NMC, HCPC, GMC, Social Work England or equivalent healthcare regulator
  • Previous experience as a Clinical Educator, Practice Educator, Clinical Trainer or Learning & Development professional within healthcare
  • A recognised education qualification (Certificate in Education, AET, CIPD or equivalent)
  • Experience delivering classroom, virtual and blended learning programmes
  • Strong facilitation, coaching and presentation skills
  • Knowledge of adult learning principles, learner development and inclusive practice
