Role:

As a Production Planner, you will play a pivotal role in optimising our production processes to meet the dynamic demands of our customers. The successful candidate will be instrumental in orchestrating efficient workflows, ensuring seamless coordination between various departments, and driving excellence in precision engineering.

Responsibilities:

• Interface with production, sales, purchasing and suppliers in order to schedule material and production to meet the customer demand.
• Ensure raw material deliveries are aligned to production requirements.
• Establish plant production schedules, WIP job management.
• Identify and react to material plans that do not meet customer requirements.
• Prepare and implement work orders and plans as required.
• Identify constraints within production plan and take action to mitigate.
• Manage supplier dates in line with production requirements.
• Drive key business metrics such as on-time delivery, delivery date accuracy.
• Liaise with Manufacturing Engineering to provide production information.

Requirements:

• Desirable to have worked in a manufacturing environment.
• Able to work in both Metric & Imperial units.
• Computer literate.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to be proactive and problem solve with own initiative.
• Able to work individually and as part of a team.
• Enthusiastic, positive attitude, good time keeping and attendance, self-motivated.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £39,000.00-£43,000.00 per year
