Are you a motivated, patient-centred General Practitioner looking for a rewarding role that truly respects your work-life balance?

Garway Medical Practice is a well-established, friendly, and close-knit NHS GP practice in the heart of London W2, serving a diverse and engaging list size of 3,700 patients. As part of our proactive strategy to continuously elevate our clinical standards and drive our CQC rating upward, we are expanding our medical team.

We are looking for two enthusiastic Salaried GPs to join us on a permanent, part-time basis. We know how demanding modern primary care can be; that is why we are offering a highly manageable 4 sessions per week and are fully open to designing a flexible weekly schedule that perfectly coordinates around your personal or portfolio commitments.

The Work Environment

At Garway Medical Practice, you will not be practicing in isolation. We have built an extensive, highly integrated multidisciplinary network to significantly streamline your daily admin and reduce clinical strain.

Your day-to-day workload will be fully supported by:

  • An in-house Clinical Pharmacist to manage medication reviews and prescription queries.
  • A dedicated Practice Nurse managing chronic disease frameworks.
  • Active Social Prescribers to handle complex holistic patient pathway referrals.
  • A supportive, highly efficient administrative and management team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Clinical Care: Deliver high-quality, safe, and compassionate evidence-based clinical care to our registered patient population.
  • Collaboration: Work collaboratively alongside our multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless patient journeys and efficient cross-cover.
  • Practice Development: Actively contribute to the ongoing development, clinical governance, and continuous service improvement of the practice as we target CQC excellence.
  • Compliance: Participate regularly in internal clinical meetings, peer reviews, and multi-disciplinary case discussions.
  • Documentation: Maintain meticulous, accurate, and structured electronic patient records utilizing SystmOne.

Requirements

  • Registration: Full registration with the General Medical Council (GMC) and active inclusion on the GP Register.
  • Compliance: Active inclusion on the NHS National Performers List (or immediate eligibility to join).
  • Appraisal: Up-to-date annual appraisal and current GMC revalidation status.
  • Vetting: Enhanced DBS clearance (or willingness to undergo processing).
  • Attributes: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, a collaborative team-focused mindset, and a genuine passion for community-based patient care.
