Job Overview

A to E Training & Solutions is a national healthcare training provider delivering resuscitation and clinical skills education across NHS and independent healthcare organisations throughout England. We have a strong track record in developing clinicians into nationally accredited Resuscitation Officers.

We currently have vacancies covering the London, Oxford, Derby, Leicester, Basingstoke and Southampton areas. Successful candidates will commence onboarding from 01st November 2026.

We are recruiting Assistant /Resuscitation Officers to join our clinical training team. This is a practical, hands-on developmental role suited to clinicians with an acute background who want to build a career in education and resuscitation practice. You will deliver training across a range of healthcare settings while developing your clinical, educational and leadership capability within a structured and supportive environment.

For those who already posses an RCUK advanced instructor status they may join the team as a resuscitation officer with development into some of our specialist areas of activity.

With support and supervision, you will also undertake the role of a clinical member of resuscitation teams at contracted sites where appropriate and contribute to wider governance activity linked to resuscitation practice.

The role requires flexibility, UK travel and occasional overnight stays. Delivery settings and deployment vary week to week depending on operational need.

Main Duties / Key Responsibilities

In this role you will deliver and support resuscitation and clinical skills training across a range of healthcare settings and assist with delivery of nationally accredited resuscitation programmes.

You will participate in resuscitation attempts and emergency response under supervision where required, support audit, policy development and governance work related to resuscitation, and maintain clinical credibility through ongoing professional development.

You will work with multidisciplinary teams across varied environments and contribute to safe and effective clinical practice.

About You (Requirements)

You must hold current professional registration (NMC, HCPC, GMC or GDC) and have an acute clinical background (e.g. nursing, paramedic or emergency care) with recent relevant experience. You should be confident communicating with a range of staff groups and able to work both independently and as part of a team.

An interest in developing as a clinical educator is essential. Experience delivering or supporting skills-based training would be helpful but is not required.

Overview of Organisation

A to E Training & Solutions is a well-established and growing resuscitation training provider delivering nationally across England. Our work is guided by our core values: Accountable, Brilliant, Compassionate, Developmental and Expert.

We are an approved Resuscitation Council UK course centre delivering ILS, ALS, EPALS, PILS, GIC and related programmes.
